The Château de Bourron :

Located in Seine-et-Marne (France), 45 minutes from the south of Paris, in the heart of the forest of Fontainebleau, the Château de Bourron welcomes you all year long in its ground-floor lounges and its garden-level vaulted rooms. 17th century residence, made of bricks and stones, circled with moats, with a preservation order and gifted with a formal garden spreading its 40 hectares of grass and woods, the magnificent domain of Bourron offers an exceptional setting for your movies and photos.

Highly elegant, the interior saves its original decorative elements : a 18th century bookcase with panelling, a dining-room with late 16th century Flemish tapestries and a stove made of Swiss earthenware, ornamented with hunting scenes and allegories.

This charming and pleasant residence belonging to the Montesquiou-Fezensac family since more than a century, is distinguished by its fairy-tale and harmonious nature, where it's good to live. A place to discover.

Its grounds :

The castle sits in its own forty acre private walled parkland, with moat, formal gardens and woods. Situated on the border of the Fontainebleau Forest, it hides a number of surprises including Fernand Py's statue of Saint Joseph, Artagnan's house and a neolithic spring "source Saint Sévère" romantically hidden behind a tiny snow-white cottage. This spring has fed the moat which circles the castle for over 700 years and becomes a boating canal following the formal gardens and the Linden Tree Avenue off into the distance.
