History of the Suite Cordon
Count René and his wife Christiane de Cordon, natives of the Savoie, their ancestors fought a long time for the independance of the Savoie before it was connected to France in 1860. Loyal papasts, the Cordon family followed the different crusades.

The coat of arms and the portrait of the Knight Jacques de Cordon are respectively on the left and on the right of the canopy. He fought the "unfaithful" in 1585 as a knight of the Order of Malta during the battle of Passava and Machomette. At the centre of the canopy is the engraving of the Countess Gower and her daughter Elisabeth. She welcomed Christine de Cordon in England during the eventful period of the French Revolution.

Atmosphere
The Cordon Suite represents discreet luxury with its muted lighting and a silk empire canopy from Lelièvre. The small elegant fireplace goes well with the yellow colour scheme.
The bathroom has a deep bath tub which is entered by a small stone step. The window in the bathroom allows natural lighting. The view overlooks oak trees which are over a hundred years old. The original floor tiles of the period add to the warm atmosphere.

This Suite has a King size bed, a phone, Internet with ADSL by WiFi, air-conditioning with individual control. On the floor, parquet floor. Non-smoking room. Bathroom with an antique pedestal sink, separate WC, hair drier, bathrobe.
